Gather your loved ones and celebrate the arrival of your new baby, welcome adopted children into your family or celebrate your child’s identity choices with a ceremony that reflects who you are as a family and what hopes you have for your child’s future.
Welcoming a new child into your family and community is such a wonderful way to share your happiness and joy with those you love. The religious connotations of a traditional baptism might not be your cup of tea but that shouldn't put you off planning a Naming Day or Welcoming Ceremony to celebrate your new arrival.
Why not appoint 'Godparents' or 'Supporting Adults' and ask Grandparents to make their own promises to your child. Build a wishing tree to which your guests can pin their good wishes for your child so that they can be looked at for years to come; invite the special people in your life to light a candle that signifies their love and continued support for the family; include readings and music; pass on family heirlooms or give gifts as a keepsake - the day is yours!
We can plan your day exactly how and where you want it. Whether that be in the garden at home, on a trampoline or in the local swimming baths! In choosing a celebrant-led ceremony you are choosing to enjoy a personally written and unique ceremony for you and your family.

What’s included?
Before the ceremony:
· An initial zoom chat or phone call to discuss your plans. Let’s hope our diaries match up!
· A meeting in person at your chosen venue. We’ll have a cuppa and get to know each other.
· Suggestions of readings, poetry and music if needed.
· Help with the writing of promises to be made to your child by yourself, and anyone else you’d like to make promises.
· As many catch-up calls/emails/video chats as you wish. Further in-person meetings at an additional cost.
On the day:
· I will arrive half an hour before the ceremony starts to make final checks and ensure everything is going smoothly.
· Your ceremony will be delivered professionally and with pride.
After the ceremony:
· You’ll receive a souvenir copy of the script (extra copies can be purchased for an additional fee).
Optional extras include:
· Symbolic actions such as candle lighting/sand pouring/tree planting.
· A commemorative certificate that can be signed during the ceremony.
Travel outside of a 40 mile radius of LS5 will incur additional costs.
